Login and Bibliography for Research Essay 17-`8

The bibliography will be its own grade.  Please make sure our students are writing down all the bibliographic information for their topics.  I mention it multiple times, every day in class.  At the same time I see a large number of students not keeping track of the citation information.  The computer log in information and bibliographical information is attached.

Research Rubric 17-18

Attached is a guide that can be followed as the student is building their essay. I have encouraged them to leave their notes in the class room. However, if they are following the outline attached they can work on a different part of the process and, bring it to class.

For example:

In class I looked up the who, what when, where....

At home I interviewed my parents about that timeframe or wrote down my thoughts on the research I did in class. I focused on the gathering materials. I started my draft......

Take notes on a video about my topic because we are not using ear phones in class.

Choose the information for the graph and build it.

Use the outline below and work backwards because in class we are working forwards.  The student is not likely to have that information at school already.
